Experience supporting clients from diverse backgrounds with a range of issues

I am an integrative therapist registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). My qualifications include a BSc in science and a postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling from The Minster Centre, where I am also completing an MA in Integrative Psychotherapy & Counselling.

Working integratively means that I draw from psychodynamic, person-centred, humanistic, cognitive and trauma-informed approaches in order to tailor the therapy to your individual needs. My practice is underpinned by the belief that human beings are fundamentally relational and that our wellbeing is greatly influenced by the quality of our connections with others. I work collaboratively, fostering a strong alliance where self-acceptance, healing and growth are facilitated in ways that suit each client's individual needs.

Alongside my private practice I also hold Honorary Psychotherapist roles supporting clients in a specialised LGBTQ+ counselling service and in a community counselling service. Before retraining as a therapist I worked in biomedical research and in photographic and media production which gives me an understanding of working in fast paced, pressured environments.

I work in an affirmative way with clients from diverse backgrounds and sexual and gender identities.

I can offer sessions in English and Spanish.
